Welcome to your resource for Heart Healthy recipes. This recipe bank is provided
for all individuals who seek to improve their heart’s health. Choose from a
variety of recipe categories or submit your own recipe for posting. If you
submit a recipe our registered dieticians will review its “heart healthy” value
and modify it accordingly. Modifications to make a recipe more nutritious may
include ingredient substitution or a reduction of a certain ingredient, such
as sugar. These modifications are made to decrease fat, calories, sugar and
salt in your favorite recipes. Your recipe will then be added to the recipe
file for all visitors to enjoy.

Our four clinical dietitian specialists have attained advanced credentialing well above that required for a registered dietitian. Anthea Wesson, Amanda Timmerman, and Janine Glenn are all board certified in nutrition support (CNSD) by the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition. The nutrition support dietitian plays a key role in assessment and transitioning a patient between methods of nutrient delivery.
Amanda Timmerman has earned, additionally, a Master’s Degree in Clinical Nutrition. Martha Gonzalez is board certified by the American Association of Diabetes Educators as a Certified Diabetes Educator, specializing in all aspects of clinical care for type 1, type 2, and gestational diabetes.
